In The Garden Design, Care & Workshops

We offer environmentally harmonious design, installation, maintenance, and garden coaching services in southeastern Pennsylvania, especially Philadelphia, the suburbs and the surrounding counties. Our speciality – customized, mixed ornamental and vegetable gardens on small and mid-size residential properties. We especially enjoy collaborating with property owners to create gardens using their ideas and favorite plants. We’re experimenting with low-maintenance, ecological lawns and urban native plant meadows.

Owner Charlotte Kidd also enjoys garden coaching – working hand-in-hand with clients in their gardens. She teaches garden maintenance skills – pruning, planting, deadheading, soil preparation, tool choice and care, container gardening, bulb selection and planting. She helps customers organize and prioritize projects with Right Plant, Right Place in mind. That is, being successful by considering plant habitats and seasonal conditions.
